This Interior Lives painting is in honor of my spiritual life. When I was considering this project I needed to remind myself that my body has an inner strength and spirit that I was not accessing or expressing. I found inspiration thinking of an angel, whose perfect body I could use as inspiration. The model for this piece was actually my hair stylist, who definitely has the body of an Angel. As I was painting, I reminded myself that I am much more than I know. My spiritual self is living untouched by human frailty, and will someday carry me on to a life of no more tears, no pain, no hunger and no thirst.
