This painting was an homage to a wonderful shop whose 

decorative foliage and interesting name are only the beginning of it's many attractions.  Art Gecko's placement in the middle of the vital shopping area on Monroe Street adds to it's allure. Then there are the customers.

I love adding that to the list.

It was so much fun to paint, and I learned a lot about melding architecture with people.  My most successful attempt so far at street painting.
